Permanent museum galleries feature interactive hands-on and minds-on exhibits for children of all ages. The emphasis is on Science:

WHAT'S IN THE MUSEUM?

Inside the main exhibit area there is the bridge of a starship, with a captain's chair, as well as Science Officer Stations. Spaceship doors open to reveal the interior of the ship where robots R2D2 and his girlfriend R2She2 greet our guests. As visitors navigate through the museum they will encounter interactive hands-on displays arranged in galleries. Later visitors will see a flying saucer, the terminator, ROBOTEACHER computerized teacher of the future, plasma High definition televisions, a High Technology area, and more. The Hyde Park Mastodon (recently featured on the Discovery Channel), dinosaur models, murals, posters and displays in a prehistoric setting will soon be featured in our prehistoric area.
