EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND FILMS

IMAGINATIVE SPACEPORT THEME

These proposed Educational Programs are currently under development. They are unique since they are delivered within our SPACESHIP/SPACEPORT setting:

  • Visitors will be issued a passport to the future.
  • Children are made official crewmembers of the SPACESHIP DISCOVERY.
  • As CADETS they undergo training in our SPACE ACADEMY.
  • Cadets and their teachers and/or families are encouraged to imagine that they are taking a COSMIC VOYAGE.
  • Visitors are guided on their journey by our Science officers and their commanders.

FUTURISTIC SCENARIO

This scenario will prepare them for their departure (similar to astronaut training) just as though they were traveling to the International Space Station or visit and alien world.

    TEACHERS IN TRAINING
    • Teachers will have access to state-of-the-art equipment that they would otherwise not have available.
    • Formal programs will deliver teacher-training opportunities that apply real world, inquiry based skills.
      College Internships
    • College credit will be offered through local colleges
    • Stipends will be paid on a regular basis
