Mr. Holt is a Walt Disney American Science Teacher for the United States.
Bill Nye The Science Guy and Lindsay Wagner both presented The American
Teacher Award to Mr. Holt at Disney World in Orlando Florida.
Students at Roosevelt High contributed to the "Make a Wish" foundation
so Mr. Holt asked Michael Eisner if Mickey and Minnie could please come
to Hyde Park.They were flown from Disney World in Orlando and driven
in a limo from JFK airport.
Mr. Holt met William Shatner when he stayed at his aunt's house in Hyde
Park.
Maestro Randall Craig Fleischer is currently working with Mr. Holt and
his students in an effort to teach young children the physics of music.
