Kenwood has given the Classroom of the Future the SYS-2700 full-sized digital home theater system. The SYS-2700’s Dolby Digital decoding brings the movie theater experience right into the home, with full 5.1 channel digital surround sound. The SYS-2700 includes a DVD player (that also plays CDs) and a 6-channel power amplifier that delivers 100 watts to each speaker in stereo. The system’s 3-way front speakers have built-in 8" subwoofers, and the 2-way dipolar surround speakers are in tower enclosures, which places them at the right height to produce a spacious, realistic surround sound environment. The 2-way center speaker has dual woofers, and delivers crisp, clear movie dialog and accurate imaging of musical instruments."
